This case discusses a business in the food catering industry and shows the importance of supply chain activities. El Yosr Food Corner has been operating in Egypt since 1997. It provides standardized as well as customized home-made oriental dishes at competitive prices. By 2009, the company’s operational capabilities couldn’t meet the high growth in the business. The inefficiencies in supply chain management caused many problems to the business. Therefore, the business’ owner tried to get consultancy to face these challenges.
